Management/Science Teams
The Company team includes individuals with many years of experience in the discovery and development of drugs in pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies. It also includes individuals who are highly expert in finance, business development and in the acquisition and protection of intellectual property. Drs. Richard Salvador and William Garland bring their extensive drug discovery and development experience as senior executives at Hoffmann La Roche, Inc. and other companies to their roles as Chairman of the Board/President and Chief Executive Officer, respectively. Michael Strage is a lawyer with a financial background, and extensive business and entrepreneurial experience. He was a founder and board member of Axonyx and is a founder of AngioGenex, Inc. Dr. Benezra is Head of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) that consists of a group of highly regarded experts in angiogenesis and related scientific fields.
